DATABASE portal
The DATABASE portal is a mySQL database of database topics (eg SQL, concurrency) with associated resources (eg presentations, activities, online digiitised chapters). It resides on the myCourse server.
The portal is accessible to all students from the home page of each unit, including A&DD, in the Databases theme. It facilitates the efficient sharing, delivery and management of learning resources.
The paper below, which was first presented at TLAD in 2004 (and an updated paper presented in 2005), discusses this application.
