The work we'll be doing over the next few months will fall into three
categories:
- Private - for personal use. (To develop this work effectively, it
would be of great value to keep a reflective logbook or diary of
your teaching as we proceed. You'll also want to think of capturing
evidence as we go along);
- Protected - shared with each other within the Commons;
- Public - in our portfolios, on the web.
We're currently examining/working on the contextual setting of
our itp work, which we're addressing in four areas:
- How we got into teaching (covered in first session)
- What it's like where we teach (covered in first session)
- Aims/objectives for the itp course we teach (for second session)
- Our teaching philosophy (for second session)
So there are three things to bring with you on November 11th:
- Both the "aims" and "philosophy" pieces at Protected level
- A first draft of a "context" piece at "public" level (this
may draw from any of the four areas - or from something else we
haven't explicitly considered, of course)
