The current Zed font

There are two versions of the current Zed font

Mac version information and fonts [sea] [sea.hqz] [tgz]
Windows version information and zipped fonts. The unzipped files are also available in installation instructions, PFB file, TrueType font, uuencoded zipped fonts, AFM file and PFM file

Each version includes a very simple Microsoft Word example of a schema that might be used as a template.

Some people have reported problems with use of the TrueType fonts with Adobe Acrobat. This is a known problem:

"TrueType Fonts Appear Incorrect in PDF Created in Windows NT with Distiller 4.x and AdobePS 5.0 or 5.1"

Adobe publish a technical note describing solutions. Essentially, the advice is to update to Acrobat 5.0.5. Ralph Miarka reports that installing the update package also installed Adobe PDFMaker (including a link to it from PowerPoint). Creating a PDF file then worked ... It now also works using Distiller.
