Interpretation (2)
Characteristic features correspond to:
- cells that join growing queues, and thus have increasing delays;
- sequences of back-to-back cells produced after a burst has finished, when cells arrive while the queue is clearing;
- combination of different patterns give cascaded shadow replicas of the basic patterns;
- different burst rates give a variety of gradients;
- fine-grain blocking and clocking effects, which are still visible at the larger scale.
