Combining the Measurements
Combining the two measurement streams into a single set of measurements requires:
- ensuring that the two sets overlap; for test streams, this involves starting recording when a synchronizing payload is seen;
- matching observations of each cell in the two streams; this is done by finding the longest sequence of content matches;
- preliminary determination of measurement clock offsets and rates;
- selection of a set of cells with low delay and using them to give a more accurate clock correction.
