Thomas Schilling, studying for a PhD in the University’s School of Computing, won a Gold Award from the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for a poster and presentation in Copenhagen. Dr. Alex Freitas has been recently awarded a £104,000 EPSRC Discipline-Hopping grant entitled: "Predicting the Volume of Distribution of Drugs and Toxicants with Data Mining".
