Extended deadline - Funded Cyber Security PhD open for applications

The School is advertising for a talented student for a funded PhD in Cyber Security [1]. The precise area of research can be specified by the student when they apply.

The research will be supervised by Shujun Li [2], the new Professor of Cyber Security, who will take up his appointment at the University of Kent [3] in November.

The School of Computing [4] provides comprehensive support for its research students including:

  • regular supervision meetings
  • a research training programme
  • computer equipment
  • a desk in an office
  • funds for conference travel

Applicants should apply by 13 October for a start date of 1 December 2017.
