New Students at the School of Computing were tested on their knowledge of the Canterbury Campus as part of their induction to the School. Two teams scored 27 out of 30 and several teams scored 26 out of 30. The first team back with 27 points and the winners were; Will Riches, Lee Harris, Mike Watson, Ben Jenkins, Jack Lee and Claude Gamba. The runners-up with 27 points were Elle, Andrew, Laurent, Justin and James and third place went to Sergey, John, Jo, Deniz, Ross and Chris.

The School of Computing has launched the Kent Crypto Challenge as part of the University of Kent's 50th Anniversary celebrations.
