2007 PROJECT

Four teams competed in 2007: Durham, Kent, Leeds, Southampton. Teams of 8 students created challenges to be completed by 3 pairs of students from each institution. The competition took place at a Sun tech day in London. The competition schedule is available here.

The students had to create a challenge which could be coded by pairs of students working at a laptop in the timeframe of 1 hour. The challenges had to fit the scenario of “a group of students attending their first conference in London”. The judges were Sylvia Alexander (HEA-ICS manager) and Simon Ritter (Java evangelist for Sun Microsystems). Click on the team names to see the challenges they created.
